Pigmented spindle cell naevus / Spitz naevus
Features intermediate between Spitz naevus NOS (not otherwise specified) and pigmented spindle cell naevus. The cells are larger and oval rather than spindled, with abundant cytoplasm. Overall, the architectural features are regular and the cell type is similar throughout. There are a few Kamino bodies. Of course, the very young age is also helpful diagnostically (although a very rare melanoma does occur in young children).
