Small superficial spreading melanoma with naevus remnant.
Another very small melanoma (largely melanoma in situ) with an intradermal naevus remnant. There is an area of fibrosis that is more pronounced than would be expected as a dermal response to overlying melanoma in situ (first micrograph, right side): probably this represents the end stage of an area of patrial regression of the melanoma.
